In 2007-08 we completed a unique specification for a significant primary industry investment land-holding, commodities and infrastructure leasing trust under the retainer of the commodities division of an Australian top 100 company.

Our IP and recommended structure has been adopted and the project is progressing.

Regional Express Airlines

Our team advised and assisted initial shareholder structure to acquire Kendall and Hazelton Airways from Korda Mentha after the collapse of Ansett.

Also assisted and supported the General Manager in a successful strategy and business plan, authored the strategy to gain board and shareholder approval of the new plan: result sustainability and profit.

Forbo Floor Coverings

Forbo is the world’s largest floor coverings manufacturer-distributor.

We provided the initial strategic advice for a change to the Australian Standards and Building Code of Australia (ABACA) accreditation in respect of Linoleum and Marmoleum products.

By reference to technical specifications and proof of product performance, that strategic advice, research and co-ordination of industry expertise was able to open new and significant commercial markets in healthcare, education, government and major residential facilities. Value to Forbo since is beyond significant.

 

Project - Qantas

Heyman secured a strategic holding in QANTAS, but refused to sell shares into the 2007 takeover bid conducted by Macquarie, backed by Allco, advised by Mallesons.

The strategy adopted by the client delivered significant returns. QANTAS remains flying relatively debt free.

Water Policy

Due diligence on then current position and legislation in 2006.

Our team advised and provided political strategy and briefing to the former government's Cabinet Secretary for Water by introducing water industry experts as part of a focus team in respect of assessment of water infrastructure, water qualities, policy and pricing.

Architectural Glass Products

Our team conducted the strategic review of future management and control options for directors and shareholders, documentation of company structure and relevant contracts and structures for this curtain glass and revolving doors manufacturer/installer.

AGP holds 95% revolving door market in Australia, much of the louver smart glass façade market, glass security chicane/gate market for banks/government and the exclusive market for vehicle ‘speed gates’.
